How to Fit Lenses Yourself
→ For Plastic Frames
1. Remove the Old Lens: Gently push the lens out from the inside, starting at the middle top area where it’s easiest.
→ Optional - For Tighter Fit [Lens Interliners]
Cut off a suitable length of lens interliner provided in lens cloth pouch ie. 2-3cm and place them on the outer inner edge of your frame.
2. Insert the New Lens From Front of Frame: Begin by placing the lens into the outer (temporal) side of the frame.
3. Secure the Lens: Carefully push the inner (nasal) side of the lens into the bevel. Apply gentle pressure with your thumb on the front of the lens until it snaps securely into place.
→ For Metal Frames
1. Unscrew the Frame: Due to the rigidity of metal frames, use a screwdriver to unscrew the side and remove the lens.
2. Position the Lens: Insert the lens by first fitting the inner side into the frame, then the outer side.
3. Tighten for a Secure Fit: Finally, use the screwdriver to tighten the screws, ensuring the lens is held firmly in place.
